Winter's Passage By Julie Kagawa
I read the ebook Winters Passage by Julie Kagawa. The book has faeries and wolves in it. Meghan Chase, the main character, is half-fey—a faery princess. She is on her way to fulfill her promise to return to the Winter Court. I loved the ebook so much that I plan to go and buy the book Iron King to read. You can read the first three chapters on the website, just click on the link The Iron King. I read the first three chapters of Iron King and I loved how Julie Kagawa put such detail into the book that it was so vivid in my mind that it seemed almost real. I enjoyed reading the story from Meghan's eyes because she is so different I find her intriguing. I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for my mom to take me to buy the book.
Full Disclosure: My mom received the complementary ebook, Winters Passage, for review purposes; although all opinions in this blog post are 100% mine.

Cure Search Cancer Walk
I walked two and a half miles around Texas Motor Speedway in honor of Johnathon who is forever 3. I did it in hope that one day there will be a cure for cancer. Cure Search is the organization who put the walk together. Radio Disney was set up and they had face painting and I got the words Cancer Sucks on my cheeks. I had so much fun at the walk we got donuts before and pizza after. I got to do a hula hoop contest that I did not win :( . Oh well it was still fun. It was hard to walk on the track when you are walking on the turns it puts a lot of pressure on your ankles because the speedway is slanted for Nascars. This was an experience that I will never forget. I had so much fun and it was cool that I got to walk the speedway. I love to do the walks that are for good causes like this. Johnathon's mom, Teri is good friends with my mom and after her son passed away she started Johnathon's Rainbow Road. I love going to events to help support her cause to find cures for kids of the future.

Music Monday!!
Shakespeare by: Miranda Cosgrove is the song that I picked for this week. This is my favorite song by her. I heard this song for the very first time sung live by her. It has a great beat and makes me want to dance.

Miranda Cosgrove's First Concert and I was there!
Image via Wikipedia
Thursday I was picked up early from school and I got to go to see Miranda Cosgrove in concert!!!!! For people who are not familiar with the name, she is Carly off of iCarly the Nickelodeon show. She is one of my role models and I got to meet her. I was so nervous I could not talk and my mom thought that I was going to be sick. The concert was a private one and her very first. We sat in the front row and she was so good. She was so sweet, she even complemented me on my blue hair which was really cool. I will never forget the day I got to give her a hug and shake her hand. I love her show so much, she is so talented I love her music and her acting. Miranda Cosgrove is my idol and I was so lucky to get to meet her. Thank's so much to Quaker Chewy Granola Bars After School ROCKS Program who made it all happen.. And also a BIG thank you to my MOM she is the best and if it weren't for her I would never have met Miranda Cosgrove.....
